In a wonderful location, right in the centre of Bad Hofgastein, the Hotel Tauernblick offers a warm and friendly welcome and a comfortable and relaxing place to stay for your ski holiday.
Only a 3 minute walk to the centre of Bad Hofgastein, you will be located right in the heart of the action. The Schlossalmbergbahn cable car is within walking distance and the local bus and ski stop is right outside the hotel ensuring that you can get out to the slopes in no time to get the very best your of your ski holiday.
You are also welcome to use the facilities at the Hotel Alpina, Hotel Tauernblick’s neighbour hotel. After a long, active day on the slopes the perfect way to relax and unwind is a quick dip in the thermal pool or to close your eyes and chill out in the whirlpool.
Rooms in Hotel Tauernblick are comfortable and cosy and a welcome spot to come back to after a day of activity. You will find satellite TV, WiFi access and you will be provided with a spa bag with towels and slippers in it to guarantee your comfort. Double rooms feature a balcony, the perfect spot to take in the crisp alpine air each morning as you draw your curtains to take in the incredibly beautiful snowy surrounds.

We are based in Vienna, but always head south to the slopes in the winter for skiing and in the summer to the crystal clear lakes for swimming, sailing and hiking the green meadows and forests. Welcome to Austria, my name is Lindsey and I am originally from Scotland but our home has been in Austria for many years now.I started to ski as soon as I could walk in the Highlands of Scotland, however in search of fairer weather skiing, I came to Austria when I was 18. My love of skiing in winter and cycling in summer means that I know Austria pretty well and I want you to love it just as much as I do. Our excellent team is here to ensure you enjoy your well earned ski holiday, so please let them know if you have any questions. Our aim is that you return home happy, so let us deal with anything that gets in the way of that, when you are in resort. Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 15 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport.
