Nestled at the foot of the Grande Motte glacier, Val Claret is the highest village in the Tignes region, while Le Lac, just down the road, is set on the shores of a frozen lake, where you can go ice-diving. Holidaymakers will enjoy the wide choice of good restaurants and shops in the resort, while parents will appreciate the wide range of family-friendly facilities on offer too, including a number of fantastic ski schools, convenient accommodation close to the pistes and lifts, and a wide range of kid-friendly activities.

For those seeking the ultimate DJ and dancing-on-tables experience, as well as some of the best food in the entire region, Topflight recommends paying a visit to the famous La Folie Douce. If après-ski is not your thing, Tignes also offers a wide range of post-piste activities and facilities, including a swimming pool, a wellness area, a bowling alley, ice diving, ice skating and dog sledding.
