Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski area, amidst the stunning landscape of the French Alps. It offers over 425km of mainly blue and red ski slopes - an intermediate's paradise!
Naming this area Paradiski was no overstatement, with its bountiful selection of slopes. Les Arcs offers doorstep skiing and boasts a great variety of runs to suit all levels, including gentler slopes for younger family members and steeper, more challenging runs for fearless older siblings or parents.
The resort itself is full of character, with lots of fun activities on offer. Some of these include speed riding, paragliding and snow body boarding. The nightlife is also varied, with both quieter spots and wilder ones on offer. In Les Arcs, there is something to suit everybody!
Les Arcs consists of six resorts; Arc 1600, 1880, 1950, 2000 and Peisey-Vallandry. Much of Les Arcs achitecture is modernist, due to its purpose-built nature. However, Plan Peisey is one of the more charming, traditional Alpine villages, and is scattered with Topflight's beautiful catered chalets.
Plan Peisey is a quiet little village boasting a wonderful location at the very heart of the Paradiski area. It is in a superb setting linking to both Les Arcs and La Plagne, giving you access to a tremendous ski area! As one of the prettier villages of the Les Arcs region, it provides a charming ski holiday experience. The village atmosphere, coupled with the Topflight chalet experience, will make for the ski holiday of a lifetime.
Plan Peisey is a great choice for exploring the entirety of the Paradiski ski area, with access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne. The Vanoise Express, a high-speed double-decker cable car, is an efficient link between these two ski areas. However, you may also choose to ski in just one of these wonderful ski areas. This is the cheaper option, and involves the purchase of a local ski pass as opposed to a Paradiski pass.
Hello, I'm Malcolm. This winter will be my 6th winter season in the French Alps for Topflight. I originally hail from the west coast of Scotland, but France has become my home for the winters. I love anything and everything outdoorsy, but especially cycling and skiing! There's nothing quite like sharing a fondue and a few drinks after a bluebird powder day! Myself and the team are looking forward to welcoming you to the French Alps this winter. We are here to ensure you have a fantastic time both on and off the slopes. Whether you are looking for some local info on the best spots for a hot chocolate, fondue, or a well earned beer or vin chaud at the end of the day. We'll be on hand to deal with any queries or questions you may have during your stay.
