With a top notch spa and wellness area, fantastic food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Kurhotel Osterreichischer is a fantastic choice for being active and relaxing in equal measures.
Located just one minute from the ski bus stop, three minutes from the resort centre and five minutes from the nearest ski lift, this hotel has fantastic proximity to the slopes. Bad Hofgastein provides a traditional and picturesque backdrop to your ski holiday with it’s spectacular scenery and great ski access.
The hotel’s wellness area however, will make it hard to leave. The Celtic Spa offers a wide range of facilities for guests to enjoy during their stay including saunas, relaxation areas and a thermal pool. The hotel is also directly connected to the Alpentherme Gastein spa through a heated corridor with "bath robe access" for even more indulgence and luxury. There are great facilities here too for kids with a family fun area with 2 giant slides and a toddler's pool.
The hotel is furnished in a beautiful Alpine style and comes with spacious guest rooms and bathrooms complete with their own bathrobes making sure you feel relaxed and comfortable. Traditional Austrian cuisine and international dishes, as well as many healthy options are served in the Österreichischer Hof’s restaurant.

My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
