Expect high standards, high quality and of course, high altitude at the four star Hotel Sonnalp. A stay here means relaxation, tranquility and a great location, close to the slopes.
When it comes to facilities, the Hotel Sonnalp really packs a punch. Guests can enjoy access to a Finnish sauna, steam bath and a Kneipp pool for those days when the muscles need some care and attention after an active day on the slopes. There is also a tennis court and a games rooms with table tennis and billiards, should you wish to indulge your competitive side.
The log fire in the lobby provides a wonderful Tyrolean ambience and the perfect space to chill out with a book, a board game or a hot chocolate and just take it easy and relax. Guests also really enjoy the rustic and cosy bar, which provides a lovely space in which to socialise and sip on an aperitif, a freshly mixed cocktail or one of the expertly selected wine assortment, of which the hotel prides themselves on.
For dinner, guests can enjoy a slap up, five course meal, daily- perfect for refuelling after a hectic day. The restaurant is traditionally furnished adding to the typical Tyrolean feel which makes for a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings. The staff will also happily try to take into account any dietary requirements you may have.

Hello there, my name is Aisling, you can spot me from a mile away with my mop of Irish red hair! This is my second season as a Resort Manager and ninth year on skis. I am delighted to be back in St. Johann and Kitzbühel this season. I am a passionate skier with a love for all things Irish and Austrian, especially the food and people. Lynsey Mackay
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
