Lying in the upper Val Rendena, at an altitude of 800 metres, the beautiful ski resort of Pinzolo offers typical Italian charm, as well as access to one of the most incredible ski areas in the world.
A typical traditional Italian town, you’ll find Pinzolo has charm and character in spades. Dominated by the Brenta Dolomites, Adamello and Presanella, you are never too far from some absolutely spectacular, snow-covered, natural beauty. The streets are lined with classic Italian buildings and churches, clad with wood and entirely sympathetic to its beautiful mountain lined surroundings. There are plenty of places to shop, eat and enjoy a drink or two in the evening time.
But it’s the proximity to one of the most amazing ski areas on offer, that really sets Pinzolo apart. The area offers a large number of pistes served by modern lift facilities. The 5 blue runs, while being of medium difficulty are also suitable for beginners, while the more demanding skiers will find the 4 black and 10 red slopes helpful for improving their technique. The resort offers a total of 19 pistes offering a great variety of slopes.
An extended lift pass will allow you to connect to the famous resort of Madonna di Campiglio, increasing the ski area to 100km. The new panoramic funicular Pinzolo - Campiglio Express connects Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio within 16 minutes providing some absolutely unforgettable views. A further extension known as the Superskirama Pass will allow you to continue skiing in to the Val di Sole regions of Marilleva & Folgarida. This offers a combined total of 150kms of slopes all connected from your nearby lift in Pinzolo!
For snowboarders, Pinzolo does not disappoint. They can look forward to a snowpark complete with a half pipe, jumps and a boarder-cross track. Also, thanks to the connection to the skiing area of Madonna di Campiglio, boarders can also access the Ursus snowpark ensuring that even the most daring of boarders are satisfied.
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
