Ski from dawn to dusk across one of the world's most beautiful mountain ranges, then come home to warm Alpine hospitality. In the heart of Selva Val Gardena, the Hotel Serena is your perfect Dolomites base.
Set in the heart of the Dolomites, Selva Val Gardena is one of the Alps' most spectacular ski resorts – and a Topflight favourite. From here you can ski straight onto the Dolomiti Superski, a staggering network of more than 1,200km of pistes across twelve linked areas, all on a single lift pass. The resort is also a gateway to the legendary Sella Ronda, the circular ski tour that loops around the mighty Sella massif, taking in four valleys and some of the most jaw-dropping mountain scenery you'll ever ski.
The Hotel Serena makes the perfect base for it all. Warmly run by the Assunta and Mario family, this welcoming 3-star hotel blends genuine Alpine hospitality with cosy Tyrolean character – from its traditional lobby to the inviting reading room where you can unwind with a book after a day on the mountain. Well placed in Selva, it puts the village's lifts and the Sella Ronda within easy reach.
Evenings are all about relaxing and refuelling. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious regional cuisine paired with an extensive wine list, while the bar is the perfect spot for an après-ski drink with fellow skiers. A little wellness area offers a chance to soothe tired legs, ready to do it all again tomorrow.
Framed by the rose-tinted spires of the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, the Hotel Serena offers the ideal mix of superb skiing, warm hospitality and mountain charm – everything you need for an unforgettable week in Val Gardena.
This property is offered on a Half Board basis. Dinner is 4 course. Special Christmas and New Year dinner is included.

Selva Val Gardena sits at around 1,560m in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, at the gateway to the Sella Ronda and the Dolomiti Superski. The Hotel Serena is centrally located on Strada Puez, a short walk from the village centre with its ski lifts, shops and restaurants close by.
My name is Lynsey and although I was born in Scotland, I’ve spent over 12 years working for Topflight across some of Europe’s best-loved mountain and summer destinations, including Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. Skiing has always been a huge part of my life and even after all these years, I still can’t get enough of being in the mountains. When summer arrives, my skis are swapped for sandals and I’m happiest embracing a little la dolce vita. I have a particular love for Italy and enjoying everything that makes an Italian summer so special.
Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
