The Alpen Resort Bivio (previously known as Alpen Village Hotel) enjoys a wonderful location just 3 minutes away from the nearest lift and boasts a welcoming and cosy alpine style with a whole host of facitlities.
The Galli family, who have been working in the tourism sector in Livigno for generations, have recently taken over the management of the Alpen Village Hotel. With their wealth of experience and passion for excellent customer service, you can be guaranteed that you will be very well looked after.
The complex comprises of a central building where you will find the reception, a welcoming bar with an open fire, a restaurant with terrace and a quiet lounge. There is also an area with a swimming pool, outdoor saunas and a wellness centre and seven connected chalets where you will find the bedrooms.
The restaurant offers a wide selection of cuisine including Italian specialities as well as typical dishes from Valtellina and Livigno. The hotel also caters very well for guests with food intolerances. A sampling of the wonderful wine selection from Bivio’s wine cellar comes recommended, as they have 200 types of Italian & international wines, so lots and lots of choice.

Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
