Some hotels are a place to sleep between ski days. Croce Bianca Leisure & Spa in Canazei is a destination in its own right. The Sellaronda just happens to be outside the front door
There are hotels with a spa. And then there is the Croce Bianca Leisure & Spa Hotel, where the wellness offering is so exceptional it has become as much a reason to visit as the skiing itself. This beautifully run 4-star hotel sits in the very heart of Canazei, one of the finest ski towns in the Italian Dolomites, and has been welcoming guests with warmth and distinction for five generations.
The Detone family has built something genuinely special here. The rooms are elegant and well-appointed, many with balconies offering sweeping views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks. The restaurant is the kind of place that skiers dream about all afternoon on the slopes, with a gourmet half-board menu that has earned recognition in the Michelin Guide since 1958. This is Italian mountain cooking at its most refined.
Then there is the wellness centre. Two heated pools including a stunning indoor/outdoor pool with panoramic mountain views, a rooftop jacuzzi, traditional sauna, bio-sauna, thermarium, aromarium and chromotherapy. After a day on the Sellaronda circuit, this is not a luxury. It feels like a necessity.
The location completes the picture. Right in the centre of Canazei, with the Cabinovia Belvedere gondola and access to over 1,200km of Dolomiti Superski pistes just a short walk away. For skiers who want the very best of the Italian Alps, in every possible sense, Croce Bianca is the answer.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Croce Bianca Leisure & Spa Hotel occupies one of the finest positions in Canazei, sitting right in the heart of the village with everything within easy reach. The Cabinovia Belvedere, your gateway to the Sellaronda circuit and the vast Dolomiti Superski network, is just a 6-minute walk from the hotel, with the ski bus stop at Canazei Piazza Marconi only 450 metres away for onward connections across the Val di Fassa. The village centre, with its restaurants, bars and shops, is a leisurely 5-minute stroll. It is, quite simply, one of the most convenient and well-connected locations in the resort.
Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
After completing my degree in Liverpool, I spent a few years gaining experience in hotels in Chester and Cornwall before landing in Livigno to organise custom ski tours in the area. I look forward to working as part of the Topflight Team again this summer and winter and am here to assist you throughout your holiday!
