Belle Plagne, perched at about 2,050 m and completely car-free, is a charming Alpine village offering ski-in/ski-out access to the vast Paradiski ski area, with over 400km of pistes. It’s a top choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for both convenience and an inviting mountain atmosphere.
While the village itself sits at 2,050 m, the surrounding ski area reaches up to 3,250 m, meaning most of the terrain is above 2,000 m and enjoys excellent snow reliability throughout the season.
Belle Plagne has its own freestyle zone just above the village, and is also close to La Plagne’s main snowpark area, which includes boardercross, a halfpipe, kickers, rails, and an airbag. These areas cater to all levels of freestylers, from beginners to advanced.
The resort is full of charm, with a friendly, laid-back vibe and a pedestrian-only centre lined with welcoming bars, quality restaurants, and a good mix of shops. While it’s not the rowdiest of La Plagne’s villages, Belle Plagne is considered one of the livelier spots, offering a good après-ski scene without being overwhelming.

In my free time at home in Dublin, you'll probably find me on a yoga mat, the tennis court or a hiking trail somewhere. I am passionate about skiing and the mountains, working or enjoying the mountain life in resorts in the Austrian and French alps, as well as the Pyrenees and Nepalese Himalayas over the years. My background in the events industry means I am accustomed to delivering a high level of customer service and look forward to assisting with any and all queries to ensure you have a fantastic holiday both on and off the slopes.

Hi and welcome to France! My name is Louise or ‘Lou’. I’m from Australia, which you’ll probably hear from my accent and we don’t have any big mountains in Australia and not a lot of snow, so I am lucky enough to spend time in the French Alps during the Winter. I absolutely love skiing and being outside enjoying the beauty of the mountains. This will be my 6th season for Topflight and Directski, working in both Austria and France.
